Stevensville Farmers Market

May 24 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Now in its 8th year of operation, the Stevensville Market is set to go! Genuine local farmers will be at the Stevensville Farmers’ Market selling farm-fresh foods every Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM until closing day Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
It’s a sure sign of spring when the Stevensville Farmers’ Market is open for the season, delighting residents and visitors with just-picked produce, farm specialties, locally produced baked goods, maple syrup, honey, cheeses, and ciders. The market will also feature handmade artisan and craft products.
Some of the benefits of attending the market are supporting local businesses, friendly vendors, and knowledgeable advice on how to prepare, store and enjoy their products. The 2023 market will feature 30+ local vendors participating in the Market.
The farmers’ market experience is uniquely rewarding. It not only brings the town and the country together. It also brings friends and neighbours together. And although farmers’ market foods are terrific, food isn’t the only reason to love the market. It’s a fun place to be, a great place to learn about farming and food. It provides that one-stop shopping opportunity.
As a part of the branding of the market you will see new signs and the market slogan is “the Wednesday afternoon grab and go market.”
Market hours are 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM this year as the preferred hours determined in surveying market shoppers in 2022. “Our Market Volunteer TEAM will be there to answer questions and welcome you to the market,” says, Mary-Lou Ambrose-Little, Market Manager. Volunteers will be available to assist with directions to downtown shopping areas and assist customers with finding vendors. Thank you to FENA Insurance Solutions for providing market bags and bling for market shoppers.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to the market this season and encourage you to take advantage of the parking available next to the Memorial Hall, right by the library. It is safe and convenient for you to visit our market,” stated Fort Erie Conservation Club, (Stevensville), President Connie Charron.
The Stevensville Farmers’ Market location is 2508 Stevensville Road.
